We agree to refund non-customised items or jewellery purchased from madewear.ng if you are unsatisfied with your purchase. Items or jewellery must be sent back to us in resalable condition and in their original packaging within three days of receiving your order.
Customers may return unwanted purchases via their preferred mail service. We recommend selecting a provider that offers insurance and tracking, such as DHL, UPS, or FedEx. To avoid any customs fees, international clients who wish to return an item should designate their package as “Returned Items.” We are not responsible for customs fees on returned products and may charge the client for any applicable fees.
We understand that a person’s vision for personalised jewellery may not always be realised. This is why we have a design process aimed at identifying any potential problems before production. Due to the extensive steps undertaken prior to production, we do not provide refunds or exchanges on customised jewellery.

We guarantee a refund for any non-customised items that you are not entirely satisfied with, as long as they are returned in the same condition that they were sent in, and within 3 days of receipt for purchases made in Nigeria and 14 days for international purchases.
Refunds are credited using the same method that you paid with. To reiterate, we do not offer refunds on pierced jewellery that has had the hygiene seal removed or customised jewellery. The only exception to this is if they are not fit for purpose, are of unsatisfactory specification, or cannot be repaired or replaced.
All items must be returned in a condition that allows re-sale. All items must be returned with all relevant swing tags, labelling, branding, and any accompanying marketing material specific to the item. We reserve the right to withhold exchange, credit, or refund if the item is visibly worn, damaged, marked, washed, smells of smoke, aftershave, perfume, deodorant, or washing powder, or is in any condition that we deem renders the item unsellable.
SPECIAL OFFER ITEM Goods purchased under a multi-buy discount that are returned as a single item will be refunded at the full price of the item less the applicable discount. If all items in the multi-buy offer are returned, you will be refunded the full value of the multi-buy offer. Items bought as ‘buy one, get one free’ or similar must be returned along with the free item in order to receive your refund.
COLOUR SPECIFICATION We make every effort to ensure product quality, as well as the accuracy and colour of our images, renderings, and descriptions. However, due to variations in colour display on different devices, renderings may differ slightly from the final product. We cannot guarantee that the colour you see on our website will precisely match the item you receive.
All measurements and sizes used on our site are approximate. However, we make every effort to ensure that they are as accurate as possible and true to UK or US sizing. We invest in quality control, but we reserve the right to refuse to fulfil an order if we believe the product information is inaccurate or misleading in any way.
We are unable to complete product exchanges online.
CUSTOM JEWELLERY CANCELLATION POLICY
Please review your order carefully before submitting it. Your jewellery will be created according to your order’s specifications. If a customer requests a change to their order, we will do our best to accommodate the change, but we cannot guarantee it. This request must be sent within three business days of the order being placed. Changes requested after three (3) business days from the date of the order will incur a charge. If you choose to cancel your order after three (3) business days, you will forfeit 25% of your jewellery payment.
