Ring Sizer
How to confirm your ring size
Check with the Madewear representative in charge of your ring order or the coordinator of your class or group ring. This person should have a ring sizer that will allow you to confirm your ring size. However, if they do not have a ring sizer, here is what you could do instead:
- Request a complimentary ring sizer on our product page or via email or phone.
- Buy a ring sizer from our shop.
- For measurement of a large group, please contact us to arrange a visit from one of our representatives.
- Visit a local jewellery store. They’ll probably have a ring sizer or a mandrel at their disposal. The mandrel is a tool that allows you to define the size of an existing ring.
Important ring sizing tips
Big knuckles could affect your size:
If your knuckle is significantly larger than the base of your finger and you’re using the virtual ruler, you should measure both the base of your finger and your knuckle and select a size in between the two.
Temperature is important:
Do not measure if your body temperature is unstable. A cold finger will shrink, and a warm finger may swell, both of which will result in an inaccurate reading. Only take measurements when fingers are at room temperature.
Measure more than once:
Measure finger size three or four times to eliminate the possibility of an inaccurate reading.
Can’t choose between two sizes?
To err on the side of caution, we always recommend you go with the larger size.
