Ring sizer and measurement
How to confirm your ring size
Check with the person in charge of your ring order or ring coordinator. This person should have a ring sizer that will allow you take an accurate measurement of your finger. However if they don’t, here is what you could do instead:
Buy a ring sizer from our shop.
Contact us to arrange for one of our reps to visit your location.
Visit a local jewellery store. They’ll probably have a ring sizer or a mandrel at their disposal. The mandrel is a tool that allows you to define the size of an existing ring.
Do It Yourself ring sizer
Download our Do It Yourself ring sizer below and follow the directions on it to measure your finger. It will give an approximate guide to establish your ring size. For a completely accurate measurement, please visit a jeweller and have your finger sized precisely.
Important ring sizing tips
Big knuckles could affect your size
If your knuckle is a lot larger than the base of your finger, and you’re using the virtual ruler, measure both the base of your finger and your knuckle. Then select a size in between the two.
Temperature is important
Don’t measure anything if your body temperature is not stable. A cold finger will shrink, and a hot finger could expand, both of which would cause an inaccurate reading. Only measure when fingers are at room temperature.
Measure more than once
Measure finger size three or four times to eliminate the possibility of an erroneous reading.
Can’t choose between two sizes?
To be on the safe side, we always recommend you go with the larger size.
